Hackathon - Reception - DiRAC Science Day

Nvidia Hackathon

The Hackathon is located in Room 218 of the Wallace Building, which is building #9 on the campus plan. On entering through the main door on the north side of the building, climb the stairs to the first floor and follow signs heading west. Room 218 is to the right at the far end of the corridor.

The session begins 09:00 Sunday 9th September, and runs for three days.

Pre-DiRAC Day Reception

An Arrival Reception will take place in an area called Science Central found on the first floor of the Wallace Building, #9 on the campus plan. On entering through the main door on the north side of the building, climb the stairs to the first floor and Science Central is the glass-fronted area immediately before you.

The reception begins 18:00 Tuesday 11th September.

DiRAC Science Day

The day will begin at 09:00 with lectures in the Faraday Lecture Theatre, located in the Faraday Building which is building #8 on the campus plan. Enter through the main door on the north side, and the lecture theatre is immediately on your right. Registration will be available in the Faraday foyer from 08:30.

Lunch, vendor displays and the poster session are all located in room in Room 218 of the Wallace Building, which is building #9 on the campus plan. On entering through the main door on the north side of the building, climb the stairs to the first floor and follow signs heading west. Room 218 is to the right at the far end of the corridor.

The room will be available for mounting posters and display stands from 10:20 onwards, and there will be people present to assist.

The technical parallel session in the afternoon is in Faraday Lecture Room K - go through two closely-spaced sets of double doors opposite the main entrance and either climb the stairs or take the lift down to the ground floor. Turn right through two sets of double doors and K is in front of you.
