SWANSEA UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF SCIENCE (PHYSICS) Postdoctoral Research Officer: Theoretical Particle Physics The Swansea Theoretical Particle Physics Group wishes to appoint a postdoctoral researcher to work on projects related to our STFC consolidated grant, including quantum field theory and string theory, lattice gauge theory and particle phenomenology. This year we expect to make an appointment in lattice gauge theory.The appointment is initially for one year from 1st October 2013, but is expected to be extended for a further year from 1st October 2014 subject to renewal of STFC funding. It will be on the University's Grade 8 scale with salary starting at £ 31,020. The closing date is 11th December, 2012.
