<points_info>A year of study consists of 120 "credit points" of teaching. All courses in physics are "modular" and most are worth 10 credits each. Thus a student will normally take 12 courses in a year, six per semester. 90 credits are taken within the Physics Department, together with 30 credits of mathematics.</points_info>
