This document is designed to give a general introduction to Visual Basic. It covers the main aspects of the Basic programming language, and some of the many aspects of the "visual" side of VisualBasic.
There are some checkpoints at various stages in this document where the reader is invited to write a small VisualBasic project. These can be used to check that you have understood the section before moving on.
